'xtended' is an illustrated literary anthology of speculative fiction, comprising six main tales arranged chronologically from the near, to very distant future, and from the domestic, to the interplanetary.
ABOUT THE CREATORS
‘xtended’ has been created by an interdisciplinary team of writers, worldbuilders and designers with backgrounds in anthropology, speculative architecture, and film writing/direction. Bethany Edgoose is a writer/researcher who studied anthropology and international studies and previously worked in the tech sector as a cyber security analyst. Nathan Su is an architectural designer who specializes in digital worldbuilding for virtual environments. Together, Bethany and Nathan run the London-based worldbuilding practice Inferstudio, which works through digital environments, film, speculative fiction, and data visualisation. Bethany and Nathan have taught worldbuilding through speculative design at UCLA, The University of Melbourne, and the Architectural Association. James Vinson is a writer/filmmaker/theatre practitioner with recent credits in narrative television, and whose feature film whose feature film SLANT recently premiered in Australia and won best feature at Monsterfest Melbourne.
